Staying at Mare Monte was a good experience! Despite the beds feeling a bit uncomfortable, I loved the beautiful balcony view and the warm hospitality from the owners were great. The clean pool added to the charm of this lovely retreat in Chora.

The stay was good, especially with the friendly owners. The location was unbeatable, just steps from a lovely beach and close to the ferry port. I particularly enjoyed the beautiful pool area, which was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the nearby sites.

Perfect for Families Seeking Relaxation

The owners were accommodating when we needed an extra blanket late at night. They were right on it.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but given the experience, I'd say it was still acceptable.

fantastic base for exploring ios's fine beaches and landmarks

I loved being just steps from the beach, and the nearby attractions like the Archeological site of Skarkou made my walks even better. The room was cozy with a lovely outdoor space, although the bed could use a bit more comfort.

We enjoyed sailing adventures and some fantastic windsurfing nearby. The crew was super friendly, and the location was spot on, just a short walk to the beach and town. The pool area was lovely.

Only downside was that it felt a bit basic, but that didn't bother us much.
